Logo Design Process

Once you select a package and click on the "Purchase Now" button we will email you our project details questionnaire once the payment has been made. This is a very important step of the process. We request you to take your time thinking through the questions and providing us as much information as possible to help us come up with effective concepts and thus get more value for your money.

Once the project questionnaire is submitted, a designer is assigned to this project, usually within a few business hours.

The designer will then review your project questionnaire and will have the Project Manager email you or give you call if he/she had any concerns or questions.

The designer will be the driver and will spear head the creative process. The Project Manager will set up the first milestone for the project -- initial design concepts due date. You can review the milestone on our Online Project Viewer called Zoho (once the project is started you will be added to your Project’s very own Zoho as a client and be able to talk to your designer and Project Manager about your design through a forum in Zoho).

The concepts we come up with for your company logo are based on the input you provide us during the order and a little bit of research that we do.

These concepts are then presented to you on Zoho. You get an email informing them of initial concept post. You can log in to review them.

You can then select ONE concept to move forward with. Sometimes you can also pick up bits and pieces from different concepts to amalgamate into ONE concept that you would like to proceed with. Normally we revise one concept. Additional concepts can be revised for a small extra fee.

Once you have requested revisions on a selected concept or you have not replied within 48 hours, we will go ahead and charge your credit card for the full amount of the package purchased.

Once you select a concept to go forward we can then work on fine tuning the concept as per your wishes. This could include font changes, color changes or even layout changes.

Each revision round takes around 1 or 2 business days depending on the complexity of the change requested.

The milestone for each round revision is set up by your Project Manager and the revisions are posted on Zoho where you can log in and review them.

After you are happy with the changes and revisions we finalize the logo design and prepare the final files.

The logo is given to you in two formats: vector source files (EPS and AI) and web files.

Vector files (EPS and AI) are the source files of your logo and these are used by your printers, vinyl printers, embroidery company etc for printing your logo. These files also allow you or another graphic designer to make changes to the logo down the line (provided you have vector editing software).

Web files include a GIF OR PNG (with a transparent background) for use on web pages and a JPG for use in other documents including word, excel, fax sheets etc.

We also create a black and white version of your logo from scratch for use in newspaper ads, yellow page ads, faxes and photocopying (for PREMIUM and ALPHA packages only).

All these files will be zipped (using WinZip) and uploaded to Zoho where you can simply download them and save them on to your computer. We recommend you burn these files onto a CD for safe keeping. But you do not have to worry in case you do not have a CD burner -- we will give you the files at any time during the life of the company, in case you lose or corrupt your original files.
